Cybertruck Pricing

During the launch and delivery event, Elon Musk announced that currently, the company will commence the deliveries of the AWD variant. There is also a more powerful variant called the “Cyberbeast,” which has been priced at $99,990 or Rs 83 lakh approximately. It has also been stated by Musk that another base spec rear-wheel-drive variant of the Cybertruck will be launched in 2025 and that will be priced at Rs 60,990 or Rs 50.6 lakh. It has to be noted that the pricing of the new Cybertruck is much more than the $40,000 announced at the time of its unveiling back in 2019.

Cybertruck Design

In terms of design, however, the company has retained everything that it showed with the first prototype. On the outside, the Cybertruck looks like no other vehicle available in any car market. It gets the same stainless steel stamped body panel that boasts razor-sharp edges and no curves at all. Musk announced that the Cybertruck is bulletproof, and during an unfortunate event, it can protect its occupants. He explained that the company has developed a new stainless steel alloy for the production of this truck. Elon elaborated that the windows and windshields are rock-proof as well. He also boasted about the truck’s massive truck bed, which he stated will not need any bedliner as it is extremely durable.

Interior Design and Features

At the moment, the exact interior details of the new Cybertruck have not been revealed by the company, but pictures show an even more extremely minimalistic interior. Presently, many standard features and options have not been announced by Tesla; however, we can note that it will come with a dashboard that is dominated by one large touchscreen. This screen measures in at an 18.5-inch touchscreen and has been mounted horizontally in the center of the dashboard. Additionally, the Cybertruck also gets a 9.4-inch touchscreen on the back of the center console for rear-seat passengers.

Powertrain and Performance

In terms of the powertrain specifications and performance figures, as mentioned, the company at the delivery event delivered the dual-motor and tri-motor variants. The dual-motor variant comes with 600 bhp and can do a 0-100 kmph run in just 3.9 seconds. Additionally, the company also showed the more powerful variant, the Cyberbeast, which offers an impressive 845 bhp and can perform a sprint of 0-100 kmph in just 2.6 seconds. For reference, a McLaren Senna hypercar does 0-100 kmph in 2.9 seconds.

Battery and Range Figures

At the moment, Tesla has not revealed the exact battery pack sizes for the Cybertruck. However, it has stated that the AWD variant of the truck can do about 340 miles or 547 km in a single full charge. On the other hand, the Cyberbeast variant can do 514 km or 320 miles in one charge.
