Sushmita Sen returns to lead Aarya season 3; Mark Ruffalo, Hugh Laurie and others star in an adaptation of the Pulitzer Prize-winning novel All The Light We Cannot See; the highly acclaimed animated series Invincible returns for a second season.

Locked In (November 1)

In this romantic thriller, newlywed Lina finds herself trapped in a web of deceit following her unhappy marriage as her affluent and heartless mother-in-law, Katherine, becomes her nemesis. An unexpected affair spirals into a dangerous love triangle, resulting in betrayal, murder and schemes against Lina. As the story progresses, it becomes increasingly difficult to distinguish the actual victim, leaving Lina uncertain about whom to trust. It stars Famke Janssen, Anna Friel, Finn Cole, Alex Hassell and Rose Williams among others.

All the Light We Cannot See (November 2)

An adaptation of the acclaimed Pulitzer Prize-winning novel, All The Light We Cannot See traces the journey of Marie-Laure, a visually impaired French girl, and her father, Daniel LeBlanc, when they escape Nazi-occupied Paris, safeguarding a priceless diamond. On their heels is a ruthless officer, coveting the diamond for his own ambitions. Their escape leads them to St. Malo, where they find shelter with an enigmatic uncle who secretly supports the resistance through underground radio broadcasts. Amidst the backdrop of this sanctuary, Marie-Laure’s life becomes intertwined with Werner, a skilled teenager recruited by the Nazis to hunt down such illicit broadcasts. The cast includes Aria Mia Loberti, Louis Hofmann, Mark Ruffalo, Hugh Laurie, and Lars Eidinger.

Aarya season 3 (November 3)

In the riveting third season of the crime thriller series, Sushmita Sen reprises her role as Aarya Sareen. Initially, the story captures Aarya’s evolution from a loving mother to a formidable gangster following her husband’s murder—a result of his covert criminal activities. Driven by both the need to shield her three children and exact revenge for her husband’s death, she rises to fame as the mafia queen, locking horns with the very people who threatened her. In the third season, Aarya confronts greater challenges as she ventures into expansive terrains, leaving the shadows of her past behind.

Blue Eye Samurai (November 3)

Blue Eye Samurai is an adult animated action series set in Japan during the 17th-century Edo era. The story centres on Mizu (voiced by Maya Erskine), a biracial woman born to a Japanese mother and a ruthless white man named Abijah Fowler. To exact vengeance on those who harmed her and her mother, Mizu masquerades as a male samurai. Her mission targets four men, one of whom might be her biological father.

Fingernails (November 3)

Set in a futuristic world where love can be quantified scientifically, Fingernails is a sci-fi romantic comedy. The story revolves around Anna (Jessie Buckley) and Ryan (Jeremy Allen White) who rely on a machine-driven mathematical method to verify the authenticity of their love. Despite the results, Anna’s doubts persist, leading her to join a love assessment institute. Her life takes an unexpected twist when she encounters a man named Amir (Riz Ahmed) at her workplace. The film premiered at the 50th Telluride Film Festival in August.

Invincible season 2 (November 3)

Inspired by the trailblazing comic created by Robert Kirkman, Cory Walker and Ryan Ottley, Invincible’s narrative delves into the life of Mark Grayson, an 18-year-old who seems typical, but for one exception: he possesses superhuman abilities. Further complicating his life is the fact that his father, Nolan, known as Omni Man, ranks among the universe’s most formidable superheroes. Based on the inspiring life of elite athlete Diana Nyad, this film follows 60-year-old Diana (Annette Bening), who has stepped away from marathon swimming for three decades and established herself as a renowned sports journalist. Fuelled by the dream of being the first to accomplish this feat without the protection of a shark cage, Diana embarks on a captivating four-year odyssey alongside her best friend and trainer, Bonnie Stoll (Jodie Foster), backed by a committed sailing crew.
