Shilpa Shetty’s husband Raj Kundra recently unveiled the trailer of his film ‘UT 69’ which is touted to be his biopic. At the trailer launch event, the businessman revealed that he and Shilpa wrote letters to each other when he was in jail. Raj talked about how he initially planned to write a book on his experience in jail but was then approached by the makers of ‘UT 69’ to make a film. He reportedly said, ‘He (filmmaker) asked me “How was it inside? Kya hua?” I said, ”Poora I am not gonna go through. Yeh mere notes hai, aap padh lo.” Aur saath mein letters bhi the, jo Shilpa mujhe likha karti thi aur main unko. He came back after 40 days and said “Humne poori film bana di.”’ In an interview with News18, Raj also revealed Shilpa’s initial reaction when he told her about the film. He reportedly said, ‘I told her that I have a script and was waiting for her answer. When I turned away from her, a flying chappal came at my face. I think she thought that the idea was a little dicey first. Maybe she thought that the film wouldn’t get made.’ At the event, Raj said that Shilpa was proud of him after seeing ‘UT 69’.For more news and updates, stay tuned to ETimes.
