Vivo is reportedly working on bringing the Vivo V29e-successor to the Indian market soon. Called the Vivo V30e, the smartphone is expected to be launched in August by some reports, while others hint at a launch “very soon”. The Vivo V29e was launched in August 2023. When launched, the Vivo V30e will join the Vivo V30 (review) and V30 Pro smartphones that were launched in India just last month. While Vivo has yet to confirm any of this right now, ahead of the speculated launch of the Vivo V30e, its display and camera details have leaked.
Vivo V30e expected specifications
91 Mobiles has reported that the Vivo V30e will come with a 3D curved display. The smartphone will apparently be quite thin. In fact, as per the leaks, it will be the thinnest smartphone to feature a 5,500 mAh battery. Leaks also suggest that the Vivo V30e will sport a Sony IMX882 sensor on the rear camera, along with optical image stabilisation (OIS) support. The smartphone will reportedly also have the signature aura light that has been seen on both the Vivo V30 and V30 Pro smartphones.
The Vivo V30e is believed to be launched in two colour options including “Blue Green and Brown Red”.
Interestingly, a leaked image of the Vivo V30e also shows that the smartphone could move away from the rectangle camera module design seen on the Vivo V30 and Vivo V30 Pro. As per the leak, the Vivo V30e will sport a circular camera module on the top left of the phone.
Older reports also suggest that the Vivo V30e could possibly be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset, along with 8 GB RAM. Running the phone is believed to be an Android 14-based FunTouchOS.
Vivo V30e expected specifications
The leaks do not reveal the price of the Vivo V30e. However, if we look at its successor, the Vivo V29e, we can get an idea on how the Vivo V30e could possibly be priced in India. In August 2023, the Vivo V29e was launched in India in two storage options — 128GB and 256GB storage. The pricing of the phone was starting Rs 26,999, and the 256 GB model was priced at Rs 28,999. The Vivo V30e can be expected to be priced similarly in India, which is under Rs 30,000.
In that price, the phone will likely compete with smartphones like the iQOO Z9, Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G, and the Realme 12 Pro+ 5G.
